Sorry to report that IE8 and IE9 are not compatible with use of HA from HDD. If you download the ZIP copy for execution you must use FireFox, Safiri, Chrome or Opera. This is a security feature of IE. Hopefully this will be fixed in the near future!

Use the Windows version of HA from HDD instead of the ZIP copy.

The question pools used by Ham Academy are valid as follows:

TechnicianJuly 1, 2010 to Jun 30, 2014Technician Study Notes (pdf)
GeneralJuly 1, 2011 to Jun 30, 2015General Study Notes (pdf)
ExtraJuly 1, 2012 to Jun 30, 2016Extra Study Notes (pdf)

Ham Academy uses browser "cookies" to store a student's drill session - remaining and previously missed questions. The student can suspend a session at any time and restart later. At the completion of any session, Ham Academy lets you review missed questions.

Ham Academy is designed to run off-line in any browser so you can download and save it to folder and use it from there. You don't need Internet.

Ham Academy works with most smart phones! It has been tested on the iPhone and Android phones.

There are two versions. If you're not going to share the program with other students, choose the easier to operate single user version. The multiple user version requires you to register a name and use it for future log-on's. Click one of the buttons below to start:
